I want to manage my finances

Before you invest... determine your investor profile

Before investing your savings, you must know yourself well. How do you do that? By defining your investor profile.

You need to define your investor profile before chossing any type of investment. After all, it's your money that will be invested! You have to be comfortable with what you do with it.

To do this, answer the following questions:

  • How much money can you invest?
  • Over how long a period of time do you want to invest your money? What is your investment horizon, in other word?
  • What are the reasons motivating you to invest?
  • What are your financial objectives?
  • How much tolerance to risk do you have?

The results of your investor profile questionnaire will usually be analyzed with the help of a financial professional. Make sure your representative is registered with the AMF.
