Bourstad is a competition that simulates stock market transactions on-line, in which secondary school, Cegep and university students, as well as the general public can compete.

Participants are given a fictitious amount of $200,000, which they must use to trade on the stock markets for nine weeks. More than $30,000 in prizes are awarded to the most deserving participants.

Bourstad is produced by Cirano and sponsored by the AMF.
