What’s your situation?

Green light – You have a budget surplus if your income is greater than your expenses.

Yellow light – Your budget balances if you spent as much as you earned and broke even.

Red light – You’re in the red if you’ve spent more than you’ve earned. If that's the case, you will have to either cut back on expenses or increase your income.
